On June 22, at approximately 10:22 p.m., the Hardwick Police were dispatched to a residence within the town for the report of a Domestic Disturbance. Investigation revealed that Shaniah Bartlett, had committed an assault using a weapon and causing injury to a relative of hers in addition to destroying property that didn’t belong to her. She is also being charged with Unlawful Mischief and Disorderly Conduct. She was issued a citation to appear in the Superior Court, Caledonia Division on June 23.
On Wednesday, July 2, at approximately 7:21 a.m., Hardwick Police was dispatched with Hardwick Fire and Hardwick Rescue to a reported two car accident with injuries at the intersection of Rte. 16 and Belfry Road. The accident was caused when Electra Zolnoski, operating a 2020 Chevy Spark, pulled onto Rte. 16 in front of Eliza Crepeau, operating a 2025 Honda HRV. Crepeau could not stop in time to avoid the collision. Both vehicles were heavily damaged and Hardwick Fire had to extricate Crepeau from her vehicle. Both operators were transported to Copley hospital by Hardwick Rescue.
On Wednesday, July 2, at about 5 p.m., Lawrence Thibault left work at Rite Way Sports in Hardwick enroute to his home in Barton. He was driving his blue 2020 Honda CRV bearing Vermont Registration HXA141. Recently Thibault has experienced memory problems and confusion. He has not made it home and his whereabouts are unknown at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hardwick Police Department.
Update: Lawrence Thibault has been located safe by the Claremont, N.H., Police Department.
