CRAFTSBURY — The Craftsbury Conservation Commission offers twice weekly training on eradicating invasive knotweed at its Eradication Test site on Town Highway 19 across from Little Hosmer dam. Opportunities are available two times each week in summer on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m. During one hour, volunteers will learn how to eradicate knotweed and dispose of it properly. Bring water, bug spray, gloves, assorted clippers and shovels. This project is funded by a watershed grant from Vermont Fish and Wildlife. No RSVP is needed.
