Real reporting on real news by real people takes real financial support

Share article

You may have seen The Hardwick Gazette’s new motto: Real reporting on real news by real people. It reflects The Gazette’s place in the communities we serve, and the human connections that are made with every story, every photograph, every sports score and every event listing.

All that very real work requires your participation as a loyal reader and as an active supporter.

The Gazette’s summer fundraising drive begins today. If you haven’t given before or if it’s been a while, please step forward and support the resource you rely on. Gifts of any amount make a big difference. (Foundations and other granters consider reader support when making their decisions. The percentage of readers who donate is a key measure of an applicant’s value.)

There’s a special incentive during this campaign that makes your gift go even farther.

A generous Gazette donor has created a $5,000 matching fund for the summer drive.

Give $120 or more and your donation will be doubled and mean $240 for The Gazette’s local news.

Give $250 and the Gazette will receive $500.

A monthly recurring commitment of $10 or more will be doubled for a full year.

Visit HardwickGazette.org now and click the “Donate” button, then decide on an amount that reflects the value you get each and every week from The Gazette.

If you’re a year-round resident, you turn to The Gazette to find out what’s going on. If you’re a seasonal visitor, you depend on The Gazette to keep in touch with the area’s happenings when you’re here and when you’re away.

The Gazette is always here for you as it has been for people in this area for 137 years.

Please be here now for The Gazette so we can be here for another 137 years.
