CRAFTSBURY – On July 25, the Craftsbury Public Library will host a fundraiser featuring tours of two Northeast Kingdom craft beverage businesses: Wildbranch Cider and Wunderkammer Bier.
The event will provide access to production spaces not normally open to the public, cider and beer tastings, and opportunities to learn directly from the makers.
At Wildbranch Cider, participants will tour the cidery, walk through the orchard, and enjoy a cider tasting in the Apple Chapel. At Wunderkammer Bier, located in a former dairy creamery, participants will sample craft beers and meet the brewer while touring the facility and learning about its wood-fired copper kettle. Ample time will be provided for questions and discussion.
The event runs from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Local cheese and light refreshments will be served.
Tickets include four two-ounce pours at each location with additional product available for purchase. All proceeds from ticket sales directly support the Craftsbury Public Library. Space is limited to 24 participants, so advanced registration is encouraged.
