HARDWICK – The Hazen Hoop Camp completed another successful season last week, offering some of the best basketball tutelage in the state to over 80 campers.

Wildcat boys head coach Aaron Hill, his coaching staff, along with current and former players, gave service to 84 eager campers, grades 3-9, over a five-day period last week. The statewide, basketball camp was celebrating its 25th year of existence under Hill. Many Wildcat and Lady Cat greats have now come through the camp that now draws young hoopers from all around the state of Vermont. Hill’s Wildcat varsity program cut down the nets at the Barre Auditorium for the seventh time this past March, and it was the first time both Hazen Union boys and girls varsity programs won a state title in the same season in school history.

Finnley Vincent won Camper of the Week honors in the morning group, and Harvest Barsalow took top honors in the afternoon group.
