ST. JOHNSBURY – The Hazen Union boys basketball team completed successful tours through the St. Johnsbury Shootout and the Profile Team Camp in New Hampshire over the past two weeks.
The Wildcats posted impressive wins against Lake Region, U-32 and Hanover, N.H., at St. Johnsbury’s Team Camp, with their only loss coming to Division I CVU. They continued their strong play this past weekend with lopsided wins over Groveton and host Profile. They capped off their impressive weekend with a 35-point win over defending Division IV Champion Littleton.
Hill hopes to be at full strength with his squad this coming weekend when they travel to an overnight team camp at Castleton.
“Next weekend will be a big test for us at Castleton. The competition there will be very strong,” said Hill.
