HARDWICK – On July 12 the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call in the Hardwick area. A small child was found to be walking alone on Mill Street early in the morning, around 5:38 a.m. Citizens contacted police and waited with the child until officers arrived. The child was soon reunited with the parent, who had been asleep and unaware the child had wandered out of the home during the night.
