BROOKFIELD – Debra Browning Marckres, age 68, of Brookfield, passed away on March 10. She was born in Orange, Va., and said that “her cause of death was living life, and that it was inevitable”. She is survived by her husband, Henry Marckres of Brookfield, her son, Eric (Christina) Browning, her sister Pamela (Herbert) Merritt, and granddaughter Kate Browning. Donations in lieu of flowers will be appreciated at the Central Vermont Humane Society. “And now, through all the pages of my days, I have reached the end of my story, and with satisfaction, softly close the book.”
