Terri N. Eldred

WOODBURY – Terri Nicole Eldred, 37, of Woodbury formerly of Johnson, died unexpectedly at her residence, from heart disease.

She was born November 16, 1986, in Morrisville, the daughter of Keith A. and Amy (Batchelder) Eldred. She graduated from Lamoille Union School in the class of 2005, and continued her education at Castleton State College, majoring in accounting. Terri graduated in the class of 2009.

In her earlier years, she was employed at the Woodbury Village Store and J.P. Morgan Investment Company in Williston. She was currently working for the State of Vermont, department of taxes as a corporate tax examiner.

Terri loved her dog “Bear.” She enjoyed going to camp in Averill with her cousins and family, online gaming, traveling and spending time with her best friends, Courtney O’Keefe, Madison Biasotti, Scott Patterson and Bobby Magane.

She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 7 Auxiliary in Hardwick and a trustee for the Woodbury Library. Terri will be deeply missed by her family and her very close friends.

Survivors include, her mother Amy Batchelder Eldred and her companion, Jason Hunt of Woodbury; a niece, Felicia Poling; aunts and uncles, Chuck and Karen Batchelder, Jana and John Carolus, Robin and Bill Durkee, Stacey and Michael Foran, Melody Shirley-Eldred and a bonus aunt Deb LaRose, as well as many cousins.

Terri was predeceased by her father, Keith Eldred on May 4, 2016; her sister, Jamie Eldred-Poling, grandparents, Gordon “Bud” and Vera Batchelder, Wayland and Barbara Wells and Earl Eldred; aunts Wendy Silk, and Anita Wells.

Visiting hours will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, March 15, at Northern Vermont Funeral Home, 60 Elm Street, Hardwick. To honor Terri, wear jeans and something green.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 16, at the funeral home with Rev. Ernest Machia officiating. Burial will be held in the Woodbury Center Cemetery at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Woodbury Library, P.O. Box 10, Woodbury, VT 05681.
