Mary E. Young, “Glory of Tulips in Sweet Winter”, acrylic and collage on board will be on display at the Hardwick Inn Third Floor Gallery through June.
HARDWICK – Mary E. Young’s exhibition, “Arisings”, at the Hardwick Inn Third Floor Gallery, 4 S. Main St., will be on display from now through June and can be viewed whenever the Inn is open.
Young says her “Arisings” paintings seek to capture the subtle tones of winter and the vibrant rush of spring.
This collection features new and revisited works, including fabric and fern collages, textural bouquets and whimsical abstractions. Highlights include Hardwick-inspired tulip colors and past-era watercolors and emotive pastels.
