There Seems to be Some Confusion

Share article

To the editor:

In the Hardwick Gazette’s article about the Rural Edge Town Hall Conversion project in Greensboro (May 8, 2024, page 5), there seemed to be confusion around the petition.

To clarify, nowhere in the petition did it state that we were against affordable housing. It clearly stated that we wanted the select board to slow down and include the voters and nonvoters in this decision, as the long-term impact on the town has not been studied.

The scope of the Rural Edge project affects the entire Greensboro village and its community. We want transparency and a heard voice in this decision.
