Kelley is Bright Spot in Election

Share article

To the editor:

The bright spot for me in the 2024 elections is that David Kelley is running for the House of Representatives. You may recognize his name from the opinion pages of the local newspapers where he is a regular contributor or know him from the various work he has done in our community. I know him as my neighbor and friend. Here is why I am enthusiastically supporting Dave.

He is the neighbor who says ‘yes’ when asked to pitch in to help or preemptively offers to help if he sees a need.

He is passionate.  He served on the school board, coached debate teams, hosted exchange students, mentored people young and old pro bono and orchestrated events and fundraisers. He’s also that guy who offers to care for your goat or pick up your mail when he hears you are going out of town.

Dave is deeply familiar and comfortable with representation in Montpelier on behalf of rural Vermont and has demonstrated he is a skillful advocate.

Dave is a “yes” to work kind of guy who listens and works tirelessly. Dave will cheerfully and honestly serve our section of the NEK.
