She Stands Out

Share article

To the editor:

After a very good, civil debate between all three candidates for the Vermont House Orleans District 4 held by the Craftsbury Public Library and the Craftsbury Freedom and Unity Committee, Leanne Harple has won my vote. All of the candidates had good ideas, yet Harple stands out. She is young and vibrant. She is a teacher. She deals  with the challenges facing our education system and is ready to work to fix them. We need new people with new energy and ideas in our statehouse.

She has children and knows the life of families with two working parents. She has served on the Glover Select Board, so she knows the importance of balancing a budget. She is thoughtful, intelligent and ready to research topics to gain expertise.

Any candidate we elect will be learning the ropes in the Statehouse. Leanne could serve for years to come. Find out more about her at Leanne Harple For Vermont House of Representatives (harpleforhouse.com)

I hope she wins your vote, too.
