To the editor:
I first met David at the Highland Center of the Arts, where he currently serves as chair of the board. I’ve also worked with him on the board of the Vermont Wildlife Coalition, on the Greensboro Conservation Commission, and at the Vermont statehouse. We’ve worked on many things, including educational wildlife forums. I know how amazing his work ethic is, and quite frankly, how smart he is.
Add to this is the fact that David Kelley is just a great neighbor. I have a pond on my property which I stocked with trout several years ago who needed an honorable end. I reached out to David who fly fishes. He immediately knew what to do and put me in touch with a teacher at Hazen who was teaching a fly-fishing class. The class came over, learned how to fly-fish and went home with 40 lbs. of trout. This is just one small example of how tied in and dedicated he is to this community.
I hope you’ll do something really good for the towns of Greensboro, Albany, Glover and Craftsbury and vote for David Kelley for the Vermont House on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
