He has the Experience

To the editor:

We had no preconceived notions about the candidates running for House District 4 before attending the candidate forum in Craftsbury. We had never met any of the candidates and knew little about them. But very quickly it became clear that only David Kelley has the experience and abilities to take on the challenges facing Vermont, particularly in regard to affordability.

Tackling the complexities of making Vermont affordable for all people requires someone with solid grounding in the legislative process, government and the law, and Kelley’s experience is vast. A seat in the State House is no place for on-the-job training.

During the forum he was the only candidate to put forth specific recommendations for education funding and using tax policy to spur investment. He was also clear that adding to Vermonters’ tax burden is the wrong way to go. We hope you’ll join us in supporting David Kelley on Tuesday, August 13.
