ST. JOHNSBURY – Beginning on September 10, the North Country Chorus resumes their regular Tuesday rehearsals at 7:15 p.m. at the Morse Center for the Arts at St. Johnsbury Academy. This year’s holiday concerts, on Dec. 6 and 7, will feature  “Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest” by Conrad Susa and “Ceremony of Carols” by Benjamin Britten. The Chorus will also be offering a community “Messiah” sing on Dec. 8. Under the direction of Alan Rowe, The North Country Chorus is a non-auditioned community chorus that began with a Christmas concert in 1947. New singers are always welcome. Everyone, including returning chorus members, is encouraged to preregister at
northcountrychorus.org.
