To the editor:
I hope you and your readers will join me in supporting Katherine Sims for Vermont Senate. I have known Katherine for many years and watched as she has grown into just the kind of leader we really need for these complicated times. Katherine is a super hard worker and a good listener. She believes in the Northeast Kingdom and loves it fiercely. She will be a great voice for the people in the Senate, and I am excited to see that happen.
Katherine will help solve problems in the same way she has done locally for decades and in the Vermont House, finding common ground. She is a creative thinker and will find solutions that sometimes stretch outside the unseen boxes that can trap people within outdated ideas and systems. Katherine’s support of Vermont agriculture is core to who she is. Those values and ways of thinking, with good old fashioned Yankee resourcefulness at the heart of it, are central to who she is and to everything we need in Montpelier.
