CRAFTSBURY COMMON – Patrick Dean Warren, 58, of Craftsbury Common, passed away suddenly on September 18. He was born on July 24, 1966, in Morrisville, the son of Beryl (Brown) Sweatt and the late Allen Sweatt.

Patrick graduated from Craftsbury Academy in 1984 and went on to hone his carpentry skills. He worked in various locations throughout his career, including Nebraska Knoll Sugar Farm. In 2009, Patrick embarked on a new chapter by establishing his own successful carpentry business.

Patrick was a loving husband for 38 years to his wife, Michelle (Holden) Warren. Patrick and Michelle’s enduring love was a testament to their commitment to each other. He was a devoted son to his mother, Beryl Sweatt, and a beloved member of his extended family, including many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Patrick was predeceased by his 25 year old son Wesly Warren (1992-2017), his father Allen Sweatt, his biological father Pat Warren, and his grandparents Margaret and Paul Brown and Irving and Margaret Warren.

Beyond his work, Patrick found enjoyment in outdoor activities such as hunting and snowmobiling.  Patrick was known for his genuine nature and open heart, which led to many enduring friendships.  He also had a heartfelt love for his pets.

A Celebration of Life to honor Patrick’s life will be held at the United Church of Craftsbury on Saturday, October 5, at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Church of Craftsbury, PO Box 46, Craftsbury Common, VT 05827, for building maintenance.
