Many joined Marshfield’s Harvest Festival activities held on the Old Schoolhouse Common, September 29. The annual tradition, sponsored and hosted by the Jaquith Public Library, included 19 vendors, cider pressing, horse and carriage rides, a petting zoo, face painting, an exhibit of old motors, food and live music.

Members of the Vermont Gas & Steam Engine Association Arline and Steven Stocking of Fairlee sit in their 1929 Doodlebug. Fifteen exhibitors from the association displayed their antique engines and belt-driven equipment as part of Marshfield’s Harvest Festival hosted by the Jaquith Public Library, September 29.
Vanessa Fournier graduated from Hazen Union School in 1973 and went to work taking photos in Bennington, then returned to Hardwick to work for Vin Zecchinelli of Farland Studio for several years. She started her own photo business in 1979. She's been in photography for over 50 years, working for The Hardwick Gazette for 44 years. She retired in 2023 and is still taking pictures for The Gazette because she still loves what she does.
