To the editor:
We are supporting Anthony “Tony” Daniels for Orleans District 4 Representative.
Tony grew up on a farm in Albany. As any farmer knows, their kids start working at a young age and take on responsibilities early in life. Tony went on to work in construction-working with his hands, doing physical labor. He knows the value in protecting the environment and the importance of affordable housing.
Tony will work to make Vermont more affordable. Having been a select board member and a school board member, he has experience in local government working for the people. He understands the issues affecting towns and schools. He will work to cut wasteful spending.
Tony will work across the aisle to solve problems. How do I know he will work across the aisle? During the primary debate in Craftsbury, his opponent told us that after the July flooding washed away one of her campaign signs, Tony asked her for a sign and offered to replace it. That’s the sign of someone who will work for all Vermonters, regardless of party.
Construction work is slow during the winter. Tony will have the time to devote to his legislative duties.
He knows what it’s like to grow up in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
We ask that you join us in voting for Anthony “Tony” Daniels for Orleans District 4 Representative.
