MARSHFIELD – Plainfield bookseller Ben Koenig will give a presentation on the controversy about the Dorothy Canfield Fisher award on Friday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m., at the Jaquith Memorial Library. When the Vermont Department of Libraries removed Fisher’s name from a children’s book award, a stain was added to her reputation. Koenig will explore the life and writings of Dorothy Canfield Fisher and why she doesn’t deserve this stain.
