GREENSBORO – Craftsbury photographer and naturalist Elinor Osborne exhibits her large-format giclee prints of Snowy Owls, Barred Owls, Saw-whet Owls and more, all photographed in Vermont, at the Greensboro Free Library for the month of November.
She will present a program about owls on Friday, Nov. 22, 10:30 a.m., in the library’s program room. Osborne will share her pictures and owl sound recordings and talk about her experiences observing and photographing owls. Osborne has been capturing nature scenes, birds and animals with her camera for many years, and writes, “Photography enables me to see details of nature which remain hidden from casual observation.” Osborne is the photographer and author of the children’s book, “Project UltraSwan,” about a trumpeter swan migration project following ultralight aircraft, as well as a winner in 2009s Backyard Birds Contest, sponsored by the American nature photography magazine, Nature’s Best Photography.
