Legislators Extend Condolences

Share article

To the editor:

We extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of U.S. Border Patrol Agent David Maland.  It is difficult to put into words the sadness felt  by this recent event.

Agent Maland’s dedication to the safety and security of our state and nation was a selfless commitment to protecting our borders and the residents within these communities.  The risks that Agent Maland and his fellow agents face each day in service to this country cannot be overstated, and the sacrifices made by the agent’s families are immeasurable.

The suffering and sorrow of all who mourn Agent Maland will not be forgotten, as we commemorate the memory of Agent Maland who now lives within us all.
