Earth Day Essay Challenge, April 16

MONTPELIER – The Vermont Attorney General’s Office is holding an Earth Day Essay Challenge for fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-graders all around Vermont. The submission deadline is April 16. Essays can be submitted electronically to the attorney general’s office by email to [email protected]. Include the name of the school or indicate homeschooling, grade, and teacher in the email. Essays should be no more than 500 words. Attach the essay to the email as a Word or PDF document. Information on suggested essay topics can be found on the attorney general’s website.

Essays may be submitted by mail if necessary. The mailing address is:​​​​​​ Vermont Attorney General’s Office, Attn: Environmental Protection Unit, 109 State Street, Montpelier, 05609.

All essays will be posted on the Attorney General Office’s public website unless a participant indicates they do not wish to have their essay posted. Essays will be posted on or around Earth Day.
