HYDE PARK – Voters of the Lamoille North Modified Unified Union School District #58 (LNSU) approved the budget for Green Mountain Technology & Career Center for $4,191,823 on March 4, by a vote of 934 to 232.
Students at Craftsbury Academy and Hazen Union High School are eligible to apply for dual enrollment in GMTCC programs.
GMTCC is an accredited career and technical education center, where eligible students in 10th, 11th and 12th grades are prepared for college and career through the acquisition of real-world skills, practical knowledge, hands-on experiences, mentoring and networking. In addition to meeting requirements for high school graduation, students have the opportunity to earn free college credits through dual enrollment and may achieve one or more industry certifications in their field.
GMTCC’s 13 current programs include Allied Health, Automotive Technology, Business Administration, Creative Media Art & Design, Culinary Arts, Forestry & Land Management and Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems.
