MARSHFIELD — On Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m., the Jaquith Public Library will host a discussion about the July 2024 Great Brook flood in Plainfield. Plainfield resident and Norwich University Professor George Springston will discuss the rainstorm, the flooding, the extensive geomorphic changes to the river corridor and the impacts to individuals and the community.
