JAMES “JIM” L. SILVER

GREENSBORO BEND — James “Jim” L. Silver, 80, of Greensboro Bend died peacefully on Saturday March 29, at the Maple Lane Nursing Home in Barton.
James was born on November 19, 1944, in Hardwick to John T. and Lorraine L. (Demars) Silver. He graduated from Hardwick Academy in the Class of 1962. Jim was a carpenter and car enthusiast, selling used cars from his house.
On March 11, 2000, he married Elaine J. Barton at the Montpelier Inn with friends and family.
Jim was first married to Carolyn Davis and they had two sons, James Silver Jr. and Robert Silver.
He was predeceased by his parents and his son James Silver Jr.
He is survived by his wife Elaine, son Robert, grandchildren; Brennan, Kaelynn, Hannah, and Aliceah Silver; and great-granddaughter, Leah Silver.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Hardwick Rescue Squad at P.O. Box 837, Hardwick, VT 05843.
A memorial service for Jim will be held at a later date to be announced.
