Hazardous Waste Collection Begins May 6

LYNDONVILLE — The Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District (NEKWMD) has received a grant for $73,093.00 from the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, Department of Environmental Conservation to assist the 49 towns in the NEKWMD with collecting, managing, and disposing of hazardous waste. The NEKWMD will be collecting hazardous waste by appointment at their 224 Church Street, location in Lyndonville from May 6 through October 2. The NEKWMD will also be conducting mobile collection events for hazardous waste throughout the area this summer. For a complete list of locations and times refer to the NEKWMD website at nekwmd.org
