Storyteller J.T. Turner, June 8 in “A Visit with Aesop”

PLAINFIELD – J.T. Turner presents a one-man show, “A Visit with Aesop,” Sunday, June 8, at 4 p.m., at the Plainfield Opera House. Turner brings to life Aesop’s classic fables while weaving in the tale of the storyteller himself.

J.T. Turner is an award-winning professional actor, director and playwright whose work spans stage, screen and audio. A member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors Equity, he tours nationally with solo performances featuring literary and historical figures such as Robert Frost, C.S. Lewis, Benjamin Franklin and Aesop. Beyond the stage, Turner is a skilled fight choreographer, circus ringmaster and teacher of acting, public speaking and Qigong.

Admission is by pay-what-you-can donation. Reserve seats online at plainfieldartsvt.org or buy tickets at the door.
