GREENSBORO BEND – The annual Greensboro Bend block party will be at Our Community Park, August 9, from 3 to 7 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Bleeding Hearts Family Band and there will be a basketball tournament for ages six and under and up to age 18. Other events are being planned. Hot dogs and hamburgers, bottled water and ice cream will be furnished. Bring a side dish and a nonalcoholic beverage and lawn chair.
