GREENSBORO BEND – Howard Francis Abare, born October 1, 1941, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025. He will be missed by his family, loved ones, and his many, many friends and acquaintances. A memorial gathering will be held at St. Michael’s Fellowship Hall in Greensboro Bend on Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 3 to 6 p.m. A private interment will follow in Berlin at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Hardwick Rescue Squad or the Lamoille Area Cancer Network.
