HARDWICK – The Gazette is pleased to welcome our summer intern, Francesca Kitch, who will be reporting for the paper through the middle of August.
Francesca is from Belmont, Mass. She is a rising sophomore at Williams College and is currently on the pre-med track, while also studying statistics and art history. She will split her time between reporting on local issues for the Gazette and Nordic ski training at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, a spot she has returned to every winter since she was young.
Francesca said that she is writing for the Gazette because she has always held an interest in journalism and feels strongly about the importance of local news.
She will provide an important boost to the Gazette’s coverage. Her first article will appear in the July 5 edition.
