August 5 is a day for the dogs at the Dog Mountain Summer Dog Party.

ST. JOHNSBURY – Dog Mountain, Home of the Stephen Huneck Gallery, will host its annual Summer Dog Party on Saturday, August 5, from noon to 4 p.m. This event promises a day of tail-wagging fun celebrating the dog days of summer. The day’s festivities include live music from The Audrey Drake Band, eats from Tacos Del Reino, and the hot dogs and chili dogs by Rocky’s New York Style Hotdog Cart. Makin’ Maple and other local vendors will be serving up Vermont treats. Dogs can let their fur down with fun-filled activities, an agility course, and dog contests, while their human companions can enjoy lawn games, an exciting raffle and a bounce house. This is a day to enjoy Dog Mountain’s 150 acres of green fields and meadows, dog ponds, hiking trails and views. Visiting families and their dogs may explore grounds, the Dog Chapel and the Stephen Huneck Gallery. The party is free to the public and will be held rain or shine.
