WALDEN – The Walden Community Library will hold a stargazing party on Friday, Oct. 13, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at 136 Cahoon Farm Road, West Danville, with local science educator and astronomy buff Bobby Farlice-Rubio. Meet at the library, located behind the school and bring a blanket to lay out under the stars, enjoy stories and discussions about the cosmos, and warm up by a fire pit with hot cocoa.
In the event of poor visibility, Falice-Rubio will give an informal presentation indoors. All ages are welcome to this library-sponsored event.
