
Josh Peets of the Center for an Agricultural Economy takes freshly baked pumpkin pies out of the oven on Saturday, November 11. After they cooled, they were put in the freezer until delivered. Volunteers made 30 pies to go with the Hardwick Area Food Pantry Thanksgiving boxes. The pumpkins for the pies were donated by High Mowing Organic Seeds and the flour used for the baking by Elmore Mountain Bread.
