Raymonda Parchment is a Hardwick Gazette reporter. She recently graduated from Vermont State University - Castleton with a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She is a strong supporter of freedom of speech, and the right to publish information, opinions, and ideas without censorship or restraint. She is a lifelong lover of the written word, and is excited to join the team as a staff member.
Living and working in a rather cozy apartment in Hardwick, Vermont, I lead a slightly quirky life as a freelance book compositor by day, graphic designer by night, Illustrator in the hours in between and share space with my extremely judgmental cat, Sebastian.
I work on all types of graphic design projects and book layouts.
My personal illustrations and artwork speak to the worry and self-consciousness that we all can experience from time to time, and I try to connect with others using gentleness and humor.
