HARDWICK – Author and photographer Jane English of Woodbury will give a talk and slide show presentation on her recently published book, “White Pines,” at Jeudevine Memorial Library on Tuesday, May 12, at 7 p.m. in the Parker Ladd Community Room. This event is co-sponsored by The Galaxy Bookshop.

Jane English

“White Pines,” is a love letter from English to the trees that she grew up among and an invitation to the understanding that we are part of the living community of “All Our Relatives”: clouds, plants, rivers, humans, rocks, animals, birds, trees, wind and more. Along with writings and photographs by English is work from twenty-two other friends of the native North American trees that are held sacred by certain indigenous traditions.

This event is free and open to the public. Jeudevine Memorial Library is located at 93 North Main Street in Hardwick. For more information, call (802) 472-5533 or visit galaxybookshop.com for a full schedule of events.
