MORRISVILLE – A Painting Pastoral class led by local painter Rob Roper, using water soluble oil paint will be held on Wednesdays in February from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at River Arts. Roper will show the steps to build a pastoral canvas. Roper’s approach is to help guide beginning and experienced painters through building a painting surface, starting small and working on a larger canvas.
Students of all levels of painting ability are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring in several inspirational images of landscapes to work off of throughout the class. A materials list is necessary for this class and will be available upon registration at riverartsvt.org/program-calander/paintingpastoral
