HARDWICK – Construction of the expansion to the Jeudevine Memorial Library is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 8. The construction will be managed by ReArch Company of South Burlington with site work and framing taking place through the summer and into the early fall. The finishing phase begins in late fall and runs through the winter, with an expected completion date of early April 2024.

The library will remain open during most of the construction and welcomes all to view the work and to ask the staff about construction progress. The basement will be closed to the public during construction, as it will be required for other purposes. The full library will be closed for a short time to do work on the existing building toward the end of the project.
