Three people retired from Hardwick Elementary School this year totaling 91 years of dedication to the school. Kevin Broderick (left) taught grades 4, 5 and 6 for 33 years. Suzanne Bader (right) taught from grades 1 through 6 in her 35 years at the school. Missing from the photo is Richard Coolbeth who was a custodian for 23 years.
Retiring from Craftsbury Schools are Jane Walczykowski (left) who has taught middle and high school science and social studies for the past 13 years. She has a total of 15 years in education. Valerie Mesa (right) has been the kindergarten teacher at Craftsbury for the past 24 years.
Brian Boyes (left) has been the performing arts director for grades 6-12 at Cabot School for the past 25 years. Starting the next school year he will be teaching music at Harwood Union High School. Linda Savoca (right) is retiring after having been the executive assistant at Cabot for the past 16 years.
Retiring from Twinfield Union School this year are (from left) Debra Stoleroff, who taught elementary personalized learning for 35 years. Mark Mooney has been the Principal for the past 12 years and has a total of 40 years in education. Melanie Maiola was the first and second grade teacher for 47 years. She is holding the granite plaque she was presented with which will be hung outside her classroom door. Betsy Brigham was the pre K-8th grade art teacher for the past 18 years and has a total of 25 years in education.
