MONTPELIER – Liz Nelson will call to music by Oliver Scanlon, Rose Jackson, and Tristan Henderson at the contra dance July 1, at Capital City Grange. Beginners, singles, and all ages are welcome with all dances taught using gender-neutral role terms. Special pre-dance waltzing from 7 to 7:45 p.m., and newcomers contra dance lesson at 7:45 p.m., and contra dancing 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Bring clean soft-soled shoes. Masks are optional beginning July 1.
