GREENSBORO – The Greensboro Historical Society is hosting its annual ice cream social and book sale on Saturday, July 29, in downtown Greensboro. The book sale will be held from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., at Janet Long’s garage, 11 Wilson St. Stop by the historical society museum lawn for free ice cream from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Also enjoy the historical society’s outdoor storywalk featuring “Nora’s Ark,” Natalie Kinsey-Warnock’s classic picture book about the Vermont flood of 1927.
