APPLETON, Wisc. – Alex Stanger of East Calais, Vt., is the recipient of the Dorrit F. Friedlander Scholarship at Lawrence University, presented to a student who will be studying in Germany.
Stanger has worked to develop his language skills and knowledge of the cultures and histories of the Germanophone realm. He will be studying in Berlin in the fall. The scholarship was presented at Lawrence’s annual Honors and Awards Dinner, held at the close of Spring Term.
