Stannard Horseshoe Social Oct. 7

STANNARD – A horseshoe social will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Orcutt Park. Once upon a time, the residents of Stannard met regularly at Orcutt Park, by the old church, to play horseshoes and catch up. Now the tradition is revived by playing horseshoes, sharing food and beginning to draft an updated town plan. Bring food to share, but grilled food and beverages for all will be available.
