Historian Jill Mudgett of Morrisville presented an illustrated lecture October 1 in the Craftsbury Public Library on how mountains affected Vermonters. Mudgett showed paintings over the years and suggested they depicted how Vermont mountains at one time made Vermonters socially awkward.
