Share article

CABOT – The Cabot Community Dance will host two events during the month of November, both held in the Willey Building (Cabot Town Hall, 3084 Main St).

The monthly second-Friday contra dance, on November 10, will feature thecalling of Luke Donforth, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. A short session for new folks will be held at 7:15 p.m. Live music is provided by a great group of local musicians.

Then on Sunday, Nov. 19, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., there will be an afternoon dance, for families who find evening dances too late for them, and anyone else who would enjoy some daytime dancing with people of all ages. The caller will be Adina Gordon, with live music.

Everyone is welcome, and all dances are taught, and easily learned. Admission is on a sliding scale, $5-10, or bring some finger-food refreshments to share at the break. Masks are welcomed but not required, the windows will be open for ventilation. For more information, contact [email protected]
