A Bavarian-style, indoor-outdoor holiday market comes to Highland Center for the Arts on December 2 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
GREENSBORO – Started during the pandemic as an outdoor market, Wintermarket, an indoor-outdoor holiday market inspired by the traditional festivities in Germany and replicated worldwide, has bloomed in Greensboro at the Highland Center for the Arts. This season, the festival will showcase over 60 Vermont artisans on December 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The family-friendly event will also feature live music with Burlington’s Brass Bagalan Band roaming the grounds, No Strings Marionette Company and Hammond Sleigh Rides, Bavarian-style food and warm beverages. Shoppers are invited to warm up by toasty fires, make their own crafts and enjoy the quirky family photo stations.
The event is free and open to the public. The Highland Center for the Arts has created three additional on-site parking lots for this event and encourages people to check in with parking attendants upon arrival. In case of rain, festivities will be moved to December 3. To learn more about the event at Highland Center for the Arts, visit highlandartsvt.org.
