Congratulations to Harple

Share article

To the editor:

I want to congratulate my opponent, Leanne Harple, on her successful primary campaign to represent Orleans-4 in the Vermont Legislature. I am sure we can both agree it was a vigorous campaign. Just as importantly, I want to thank the many people who gave me their money, their time, their energy, and their support.

Losing an election is difficult, but the silver lining in it all is new friends, and there are many. I am grateful for them as well as the many old friends who helped. Most of all, I am grateful to my very best friend who gave me her precious summer.
