MORRISVILLE — Neely is a shy girl who is currently living at a foster home. Although nervous at first, Neely has warmed up at her foster home and allows the occasional pat or snuggle. Once she has fully gained trust she is enthusiastic about snuggles and is happy to get a pat on the head. She likes toys. Her favorite is a peacock feather. The feather is a great way to bond with Nelly and bring out her playful side. This girl loves to roll around and enjoy lots of treats.
Although Neely has lived with other pets, she does feel anxious around them. She would much rather get used to being solo rather than have to share space. Neely hasn’t interacted with other animals in her foster home yet but is intrigued by them. Little kids could be an okay companion with her but it would need to be a solo transition so as not to startle her. This shy girl will need some time to warm up to a new family. Charlotte at North Country Animal League (NCAL) says, “Neely is looking for a patient and loving family to help her grow into the cat we know she can become!”
Because Neely is a young adult she has a $175 adoption fee that includes being spayed and neutered, as well as being up to date on vaccines.
Ike, who was featured in the November 20 issue, has been adopted.
