HARDWICK, WALDEN, WOODBURY — NEKCV Sales and Marketing Director Tonya Ozone said the company is ready to connect its first Hardwick customers as its high-speed fiber broadband internet network expands into a small section of town, along with more of Walden and Woodbury.
Service may now be available through NEK Broadband to residents on Dusty Swamp Road, Dutton Road and Nichols Pond Road residents in Hardwick.
In Walden, service is now available on the following roads, and most roads that connect to them: Bayley-Hazen Road to just beyond Ward Hill Road, Brickett’s Crossing, Cabot Road and Route 215 to the Cabot Town Line, Cahoon Farm Road, Cobb Road, Maple Lane, parts of Noyestar Road from Route 15, Rock Road and all of Route 15 from Danville to Hardwick.
Residents in Hardwick and Walden can check on becoming an NEK Broadband customer at get.nekbroadband.org and register.
In Woodbury, Nichols Pond, Nichols Island and Nichols Dam Roads are now served by CVFiber, meaning customers in most of Woodbury have new service available. Register for service there at CVFiber.net.
Technical and licensing reasons sometimes mean that construction has been completed on only part of some roads. Construction will continue throughout the winter with additional expansion of service in area towns.
NEKCV is a Vermont-based, not-for-profit internet provider communications union district with the brands NEK Broadband and CVFiber, committed to reaching every location with utility service in the Kingdom, and many towns in Central Vermont, that do not already have access to high-speed internet.
